Lanterns, whether hung from trees or placed on tables, add a cozy ambiance to your venue. You can adorn them with flowers or display them as is, and there are a variety of lanterns to choose from. Apples are autumn's fruit du jour and are easy to incorporate into your fall wedding. We like the idea of dressing them up a bit and using them as place cards. And why not set up a caramel apple bar for your guests? Provide apple slices on sticks that guests can pick up and dip into caramel sauce. Yum! For something less sticky, consider a warm drink station that includes coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider. You don't have to go all burnt orange and brown to create a beautiful autumn wedding. Accent colors like gold and white can add a romantic touch to a typical fall color palette. Paint mini pumpkins, acorns, or pine cones a shimmering gold and place on burlap sacks or lace for a rustic look. Or make the scene more luxe by pairing with silver decor pieces, mirrored surfaces, or velvet. Photo via Happy Wedd
