Were you ever one of those girls who slathered on scented body glitter or powdered your decolletage with silver shimmer? Although glitter is generally thought of as a teen thing, let's face it - do we ever really get over our love for the sparkly stuff? The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway should be a testament to that.
You may not want to sit in a glitter bath, but you can still enjoy a bit of sparkle, and YES - you can enjoy it on your wedding day!
Here's how to wear glitter on your big day without looking like you've just been to the club.
On Your Eyes
There are several ways to wear glitter on your eyes. You could use a product like MAC's 3D Black holographic glitter on top of your eyeliner for a subtle sparkle. Or you could swipe your lids with a metallic gold or silver glittering eyeshadow or a more subdued earth tone or mauve. Just remember to look for products with microfine sparkle. Anything chunky will have you looking more like a craft project than a blushing bride.

On Your Lips
It's easy to create a subtle glitter effect on your lips. Look for shimmer balms and gloss and apply a thin layer over your lipstick.

On Your Nails
The sky's the limit when it comes to manicure design. Add a smudge of sparkle to the tips of your nails or go for an all over glitter look by painting your nails with a solid color infused with glitter. You could also visit the salon for some art-inspired nails, like this geometric design that incorporates microfine shimmer.

In Your Hair
You don't have to go so far as to "spray paint" your roots (although that could be cool?) to get a glitterific bridal hairstyle. Instead, find a glittering hair accessory to add a bit of razzle dazzle to your updo.

On Your Feet
One of the simplest ways to wear glitter on your wedding day is to dress your feet in a pair of glittering heels or flats. You can find just about any style, from all over glitter shoes to pairs that only have a pop of sparkle on the toe or heels.
